ABOUT
Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to check out my site.
After graduating from Rutgers University with a bachelor's degree in 2011, I got my first taste of the games industry by writing, reporting, editing, and interviewing industry personnel as a volunteer at Pixelitis, an independent games blog. In 2014, I also wrote and published content for Gameranx and Video Game Music Online, including interviews with game composers Hitoshi Sakimoto (Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, Final Fantasy XII), Grant Kirkhope (Goldeneye 007, Banjo-Kazooie), and Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy series).
In December 2015, I joined Capcom USA as an entry-level Customer Service Representative. In 2018, I transferred to the Product Operations (now Business Operations) department, first as an Associate Project Manager, and then as a Submissions Manager, where I continued to manage the company's product planning dashboard and support the USA, Europe, and Japan branches with product operations and first-party submissions-related requests. I was the liaison between Capcom and ESRB, ensuring all Capcom marketing and packaging materials went through the appropriate ARC review and approval, and submitted Capcom games to the ESRB for a rating. As of February 26, 2024, I am open for work.
My other previous gigs include consulting for Brave Wave Music, writing and editing for Video Game Music Online, Pixelitis and Gameranx. I also run social media fan pages for Breath of Fire, a Capcom-produced RPG series.
When not taking part in product operations, you might see me playing drums with my karaoke band LATMF in San Francisco. I’ve also collaborated with artists on videogame remix albums and performed my own game music drum cover projects under the title "VGdrum".
Whether you're browsing my site to peruse my work samples, or you’re wanting to get in touch with me and do some video game music remixes, please don't hesitate to contact me via the handy contact form. Thanks again for your time!
Best,
Patrick Kulikowski
